The first knife RW Wilson ever made was for himself, because he was unable to find exactly what he wanted anywhere else. Since that first effort in 1968, he has made over five hundred knives which have been sold to outdoorsmen and collectors throughout the United States and Canada. Presently, Wilson is six months to a year behind in his knife orders.
Each knife he fashions has the same hallmark of workmanship he used for the first. He makes them as if he were going to use them himself.
His track record in the business is awe-inspiring. He has been written up in some of the most prominent trade magazines. His work has been featured on the cover of the "Muzzleloader." He also is a longstanding member of an elite few who pass the high standards of membership set by the exclusive Knivemaker Guild.
